"Logging in Maine" (1906) is a very short documentary. The
film is included in our program to illustrate the work of Billy Bitzer, a star
of Silent Hall of Fame.
In addition to being the cinematographer, IMDB gives Billy Bitzer credit as
a director and if this is confirmed this film would be one of very few films,
for which Billy Bitzer receives this distinction.
Let's all give our thanks to the Library of Congress for preserving this film
and making it available to the public.
